Both females look exactly like the male. The female which is holding now Colored up just as vibrant as the male hara when showing off to a female. At first had me fooled to be the male untill i saw the pouch of eggs and how slender it was.. ANd than i was like WTF the male is holding eggs... LOL Both females have nice bars and have 4 full bars..

Beautiful fish. I have some Saulosi and love their antics. How is the personality of the Hara and Aurora in comparison?

Re: Saulosi, Hara and Auroras
Thank you
I noticed the saulosi at least the one that i got are very curious and are very friendly... The saulosi were always the first one to the glass and always came to say hi when taking pictures... The Aurora is quite the opposite as its very shy and runs off when i try to take pics of it..
The saulosi seems to act like a little puppy... the females are constantly swimming nose to the glass going up and down the wall of the tank like they were trying to swim into my arms.. lol
The hara seems to be quite a bold demanding fish Quite agressive compared to other africans as the hara i have has been chasing and defending against other males of double its size...
