Failed Breeding
My angels keep trying but to no avail. I believe they are Mother and son though so I didn't expect anything. Cool to watch them parent though. I am hoping that the new male will pair up with the female as he matures.

Re: Failed Breeding
Try placing slate in top 1/3 of aquarium also male angelfish wont fertilize the eggs if under any kind of stress..
ie: water parameters, Tank mates, Lighting, Etc.....
I breed angels for a couple years and once you have a fertile happy pair you the will breed about every three weeks, just like the prolific convict cichlid.. Good luck on next go around...

Na, Oreo is fine. Actually the pair let him right in and chased everyone else off. It was pretty cool to see that. I don't know what kind of Angels they are. I rescued them from CL.
King, I did watch the male follow the female and play his roll but only a few eggs stay clear / look fertilized. Most of them turn white.
