Best Store for African Haps/Peacock ?

Hey guys,

Wanted to get your opinion on what's the best store to get African Haps/Peacocks from. There's a ton of stores over on the seattle side (asian street, southend, roosevelt, etc...) and would hate to run across town checking them all out.

A Place For Pets in Burien, by far, the best African selection. Kevin is extremely knowledgeable in the ways of the African as well.

Thanks Spyral. I've heard a lot of positive things about APFP. I'll check them out.

My problem is, most stores I goto looking for Africans, they have 90 percent mbunas. I want some HAPS !

Trust me...APFP is worth the trip..Also, check out Midway while you are over that way.

APFP has a LOT of different fish., Not all Mbuna, lots of Haps. YOu can call them and ask for Kevin, he is real helpful and will tell you if they have what you are looking for.

At either shop you will get excellent treatment.

Wetspot in Portland has some WC Haps usually as well as some youngsters. A bit of a drive though.

It is a bit of a drive but I encourage evreyone to visit this shop at least one time it is really cool. But kevin at apfp can get anything the wet spot can. But even still it is well worth the drive and if you buy enough you save the gas money because it is tax free.

In my opinion you're gonna have a hard time finding haps at any store in washington. The demand is low. Besides your standard electric blues, moorii, venustus, livingstoni, rhoadasii etc.

I've been wanting to stumble upon some electra for a while. Pet pourii does have some larger haps also. like Trout cichlids.

Peacocks however, should be able to find them at pet pourii, APFP, and conway tropical fish.
