POTM July edition! Submissions thread

It's time again for POTM! Get those photos ready and send them in! Based on feedback (and the fact most everyone gets their pictures and votes in early) we'll be running a shortened timeframe to see how things go. I'll keep the submissions open for 8 days and the voting for another 8 days. That way we'll have a winner by the end of the month!

PUT THIS INFO IN THE EMAIL ALONG WITH YOUR PICTURE ENTRY

• Say who you are, along with your screen name
  
• Say the species of fish in the picture.
  
• The photo must not be smaller than 600x600
  
• Subject line: POTM July
  
• Send To: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
  

Once I receive your picture and have it filed away, I will reply to you with a confirmation, though it may take a day or so to do so.

Submissions will be open until Wednesday, June 23rd, so get your cameras going and send in some pictures!

Tom...there is a place in the gallery for Picture of the Month winners. Do you plan on putting winners into the gallery and continuing on with that? Inquiring minds ... LOL

Fixed! Thanks for bearing with me while I bring this back to life! If I get a chance, I'll try to go in and update older pictures as well, though the sorting may be all messy.

Sorry guys, only one submission, very little interest this month. Maybe we should have a POTQ?

Maybe there was some confusion with the entry deadline date? Was it supposed to be June or July 23rd?

I guess I missed it too. I try and throw photos in and missed the deadline announcement too.

Let's do another run next month then. This month has been a bit of a fiasco for me (job interviews, house repairs and selling) so I apologize for the bad POTM experience this month. If you have pictures and are worried about the date, just get them in to me anyway and I will track them for the next month. So send pictures in and I'll re-start the threads for August.

I agree. In fact I think we should just scrap this whole POTM deal and leave the banner the way it is....  

Tom...real life always takes precedence over us. Take what time you need to get your things in order and I'm sure by the time you are ready to do the POTM there will be lots of pics into you. And good luck with the sale of your house and locating a new job. Wishing you the best of luck in both of those

Thanks! For now we're staying put. I would rather not move the new fishroom now that I finally moved it to the basement . I can't wait to share some pics of the new entertainment center flanked by two 40 gal unheated communities! But first things first!

Oh...happy happy. So glad you don't have to move and relocate Tom. I know your house has been a work in progress for you and you were so excited to redo the basement. Great news!
