| We have only had our tank for 6mth and brought a pair of long fin plecos as part of our initial set up. In the short time we've had them they have breeded and we have managed to raise a small number of fry to 8weeks old and they are doing nicely. It was an added bonus considering we are new to all this. Since then the plecos have breed again and now we have a large number of new fry.
Can someone advise if we can put the new batch of fry in with the other 8wk fry? Will the 8wk fry eat the new ones????

| I don't think the 8 week old fry will be able to eat the new batch of fry, but I haven't had much experience with them. I know we have quite a few people here who have experience though! _________________ Mikey WFB Creator & Admin

| I noticed that you also raise angels, something you might want to be aware of is that angel's see there long tails as food. They wont eat them but they will pick them to death.
As far as the 8 weeks old eating the young I have raised them in different groups and they should be fine..

I dont have an angel but I do have a convict that picked the fins clear off a small albino pleco. That pleco found a good hiding spot in the tank and has grown all its fins back since. |
