I'm pretty sure the nicest goldfish come from China, unlike Koi, and we have some imported ranchus left. You could check our store if you want

hey pleco i noticed you post a review on asia gift and aquarium. he usually has some ranchus. nothing super small but he usually has some. i know his prices arent the greatest but at least you can nickle and dime him a bit. i just offer a cpl dollars off whatever his price is. he usually will come down a bit. Interesting. Ive never seen quality fish come out of China myself. I also know Ranchu are a much bigger deal in Japan and Singapore than in China.

Singapore people like all fancy things, i.e shrimps, arowana, koi, even goldfish. Japanese people like top view ranchu and tosakin, just like koi. If you're gonna put them in tanks, I think the chinese/thai ones are the nicest since they have rounder body.

Anthraxx yea i could probably try and nickle and dime them but they are just too nice, I would feel bad! and anthraxx did you ever tell them about wafishbox? because they said they need to advertise more, but they never heard of this forum.
And Jeff if you happen to get a good quality Ranchu in i would be more than happy to buy it from you
