New Market section suggestion

Hey guys, I wanted to know if there was an area where we could suggest new Market topic. I have an Idea for what i believe is a good new topic for the forum board... Any one know who I would need to talk to?

There's a "Forum Operations" category up at the top of the forum index for questions, suggestions, etc.

Anything about the forum you can put in the forum operations category like Betty said, but PM me about anything.

do you mind if I ask whats your idea for the market section?

Okay looking back my i dont know if it is great Idea haha.and It might not take off rite away. but in the long run Making a dedicated section for Fish/Aquarium/Aquatic Job openings would be a good idea. That way employers can find people who are really passionate about fish and aquariums and not just post something on craigslist where any joe smo can apply and embellish their resumes. If the employer is really interested in a applicant. They can read over the applicants previous post to see if they qualify for an interview. I believe that this will help reduce the amount of uneducated employees that we all see at some pet shops. (I once had someone try to sell me a hairy puffer for my beta tank ) I think there should be a dedicated section because if there is a job opening, we wont have to search every post to find it.

Just an idea.

All these LFS know where to go to get quality employees. I wouldn't be surprised if someone's gotten a PM for a job offer at a LFS.

True. but I don't think a dedicated topic for it would hurt the process. I mean in the market section we have freshwater, saltwater, equipment, Substrate, and even non-fish related things for sale. So why no throw in a jobs section. I know for one, if someone even posted something for a non-paid intern ship or something like that I would do it just for the experience or in hopes that after the internship there would be a job opening. Whether the employer is looking for a employee, Intern, or volunteer they could find it in that section.
