*General rule of thumb: True aquatic plants are usually droopy and can't stand up straight when out of water (unless it's very small). However, there are exceptions like Anubias.

NOTE: Most of these are bog plants or marginals (live close to water), and some of them will survive much better if the leaves are kept out of water. If you have any questions or comments regarding this list please let me know.
