Love the variety Anthraxx. I get too enthralled with a particular subset of fish and don't get the variety, which leaves me sure that I'm missing something.

Re: SHOW OFF YOUR TANK!
hey thanks. i used to be like that. had tons of african tanks all over the place but honestly i prefer the "laid back" nature of a lot of the sa/ca fish. i highly reccomend everyone get a discus tank to look at. its very relaxing. and everyday its something different. id love to see your tang setup larry. u got pics?

Thanks madness! They were tiny when I put this that 120 together. It still has two sponges and a heater in that pic lol.. The tank has been redone since then, it looks better now I promise.

Thanks bro! I love it here. I have gotten a bunch of PM's welcoming me and asking if I am the same dude (I am). It's nice to be a newbie and have no responsibilities! Just good peeps and fish here I love it. Hey while we are on the topic of build threads, is there a place on here for that type of thing? I want to do a build thread on here for the 600g soon.

If things work out and the planets all align. I may be getting my hands on a 12' x 3' x 3' custom built tank, 810 gallons. If I do, I will be re-doing the fish room and the tank arrangement.

The clarity of acrylic is just amazing. My next tank will be expensive because I will either go acrylic or starphire (low iron) glass.

Finally my 210 Ilangi tank !
Sorry I'm not such a big poster but here is a picture of my Ilangi 210, my partners father built this killer stand STURDY ! I have a colony of 26 adult Ilangi and I leave them lots of room to be happy. It has changed quite a bit but you get the general idea.

Re: SHOW OFF YOUR TANK!
Hi Jubs,
Nice job aquascaping using the colors and leaf textures to add visual interest!
It looks like it cleared up nicely and I like the substrate color and texture. If you could update me with your opinion of how it performs compared to what you have used in the past I would appreciate it.
If you need anything just let me know.

Re: SHOW OFF YOUR TANK!
Thank you Roy. I trimmed down the crypts a bit as I was getting some new growth and the one was massive and blocking everything within 5" of it lol! I picked up some flourish products today but I am more confused about how to use them than dry ferts and EI dosing :/ so I have some research to do tonight.

Re: SHOW OFF YOUR TANK!
Hi Jubs,
lol, sorry sometimes my plants get a little large but better to let you trim them than me. BTW, I use root tabs (Seachem Flourish) under the crypts (and sometimes the Marselea minuta) because the crypts are heavy root feeders.

Re: SHOW OFF YOUR TANK!
Hey Jubs,
August 11th is the GSAS picnic which is usually a blast! I think last year we had 50 or so GSAS members and family show up for a few hours of fishy fun. It's a Potluck, bring your specialty dish, GSAS provides the burgers, hot dogs, buns, condiments, beverages. If you bring a few snippets of plants you can participate in the plant raffle.
A Place for Pets in Burien has KNO3 and KH2PO4 (also K2SO4) in stock; I saw them on the shelf earlier this week along with some new Apristos in stock. If you wait until you get your GSAS membership card in the mail, APFP gives GSAS members a 15% discount.

Re: SHOW OFF YOUR TANK!
Sounds good I need to sign up I suppose to attend the picnic. I'll have the girlfriend make something lol she loves to cook.
I went there yesterday actually and liked their selection. I have my eye on some of those green rasboras as well they were really nice looking! As for the ferts it was so busy I couldn't really look at them without someone getting in my way so I just grabbed some Seachem stuff and headed out. I ordered from Colin over on TPT though so I should have some ferts ready to go this week.
I also talked to Jonah at Sierra yesterday about what he's looking for as far as livestock locally and I think I may try to breed some Apistos soon, he said they are something he's interested in as well as any of the dwarf cichlids, rams and stuff like that.

Re: SHOW OFF YOUR TANK!
This is what a 75 gallon fish tank looks like after you open a fish store... Yes I should really scrape algae or add some nerite snails. Water is in great shape, I am able to look past the algae to see the discus growing
