I have a figure 8 puffer fish and i need some snails so any one with some pond snails or ramshorns will you let me know i would like some, thank you have a great day and merry christmas.

I dont know if they are any thing like the porcupine puffer, but we would feed it deli shrimp (with shell still intact to help their teeth). He didn't eat our snails or tiny crabs and he was a good size.

if you look on aquabid.com people sell snails by the hundreds pretty cheap.i keep a 10 gallon here with snails in it ,i get the figure 8 guys in here every now and then,i have to say its really hard letting them go i want to keep them all

thanks for the info hes a little smaller then a porcupine puffer shrimp might be a little big for him. i noticed some at my local pet store they had in with there plants so i was gonna see if they would flip me some since they are basically a burden on there plants so maybe they will be happy to give em to me. worth a shot. lol

i have tons of red ramshorns ..literally they breed like bunnies on crack in my guppy breeder.

im in Skagit Vally and cant drive to far though...so i might be to far to help.

but i could give up a few adults you could breed in a small tank, and a huge had full of babies.

i normally let them grow out in the tank to about pea size than scoop them out by the handfuls ...hold for a while for more growth and smash them in to a paste that i freeze and feed to my fish. (top corner of the pic has there holding pen)..healthy snails. even get blues out of these guys.

w/e is fine, ya gotta come fish em out though, and theyre fairly small, once they hit about the size of a pencil eraser i feed em to my puffers

gosu thanks for the snails i tossed a few in the tank when i got home, i think my loaches beat the puffer fish to em tho i will toss another in tommorrow and watch it. now i gotta find a new tank cause there home just sprung a small leak, so i'm gonna steal the 25b gal from my dads lol.

my gsps died last week so i dont need them any more.

Can I borrow some of your loaches???? I have a huge snail problem in two of my tanks & can't afford to buy any. The ones I did buy didn't even touch the snails in my tank before dying. Please let me know....

jackie buy some gourmies they eat my sanils fast lol and if you need anymore snails i have at least 150 in my outdoor pond babies and adults also two ten gallons if you need them ...
