HOW TO - Attaching Pictures
someone (betty) posted this, and I thought it was the best described way to attach pictures... so I am re-posting it under its own thread. So here ya go for all you wanting to know how to do it!
This is how I figured it out -- I don't normally post my pictures this way -- I use an off-site host. Photobucket. It's very simple and easy.
I don't have an account with servimg, so it might work differently, but this is how I did it.
Don't use the quick reply, use the other Reply button.
Click on the img button first.
Then select file and click browse. Then you navigate to your picture folder on your computer.
Select the picture you want to post and click open at the bottom of that picture folder. Then click Host it.
It will bring this up. Highlight the Image code and I had to manually copy it with a right click of the mouse.
Then paste it into the reply box.
I had to click preview after each image to get that box out of the way! Maybe it's easier if you have an account, but I hope this helps.
I find Photobucket to be so much easiser!!

Hey Betty, the puter illiterate here. Now that I can post pictures fairly easily, how do I now post more than one picture at a time. I know, dumb huh! luvu guys. Thank you in advance.

Re: HOW TO - Attaching Pictures
How I post numerous pictures is to just keep repeating the process. Copy the middle code when it gives you the 3 codes, paste it into your message and then click "upload" at the bottom of the image upload screen. It gives you the blank upload screen and just browse and go through the steps again. Hope that helps. I can give more step by step if you need.

Re: HOW TO - Attaching Pictures
Momsfishn, it looks like you are using Photobucket to host your pictures? That's what I use -- I find it so much easier.
If you want to post multiple pictures using Photobucket, there is another way other than copying and pasting each picture separately. It's a good way to get the codes when you are posting several pictures at once. More screen shots:
When you put your mouse over the pictures you want to select, it will bring up a box with some options. At the top of that box there is a little square that you click to put a check mark into. (I've circled it in red to show you the location.) After you check that box, it will highlight your picture. In this screen shot you can see that I've selected pictures number 2 and 3 which are highlighted and am selecting number 4.
After you have selected all of the pictures you want to post, scroll down to the bottom of the page and you will see a "choose action" option with a drop down menu. Click on the last one which says "generate link codes for selected".
That will bring up a bunch of links. Use the center box, again I've circled it in red. You can choose between clickable thumbnails or full size. All you need to do is click inside whichever box you want to use, thumbnails or full size, and it will automatically copy the codes. Then you just paste over here.
Clickable thumbnails are just that -- small pictures that can be clicked on to see them at their full size. If you are posting a bunch of pictures, it's a nice feature.
I hope that helps. It's very simple to do, but not so simple to explain.
