I will start breeding these guys in the near future. I bought 1 male and 4 female, when I got home the male Die, must have been due to stress. It was replaced after my water was tested by the store. The 5 colony are now happy in my 75 Gallon which is over stock! (water change 15% every other day. The colony will have their own tank once I am settled down. I'm looking to up size to some Larger tanks. Hopefully these guys will be in a 75 Gallon by themselves.

I was told, give them 3 more months and they will start Breeding. The Owner said if I breed them, he'll give me $1.00 for each fish of .25 inche or less. so I am hoping to do so. I need some stuff from him and it be nice if I could breed these guys for Glenn.

Otopharynx Lithobates (zimbawe rock)
Aristo Yellow Blaze (zimbawe rock)

I don't have much time on my hands, so I won't status too often, but I will try to get some pictures up this weekend. Mine are still Juveniles. I saw the Alpha male and he is impressive.

I left to Merced California for a wedding shoot, came back and 2 of my Lithobates are missing, and people say Mpimbwe are not aggressive! I'm not sure if I will be buying another male or not. I will keep my 75 Gallon, and also start a new 250G predator tank so I'm not sure if I have time to breed fish anymore. it was taking too much of my time breeding Malawis and such. I'll stop by my LFS to see if Glen will give me more females, if so I may purchase a colony. Otherwise, I am looking forward to getting my Fire Eel and Jardini arrowana. Please Delete or close this Thread thanks.
