I heard through the grape vine that there were a couple of you wanting to get some fish from Jeff Rapps. I may be interested in getting in on that, or being a part of an order. The only thing that would keep me from ordering at this time would be if only myself and one other person is interested. Reason is, the shipping is anywhere from $75-$95. The more that want in, the less the shipping.

i dont know if it was a couple...lol, just me. but maybe we can find a couple of others. the standard box is 90. when asked how many fish he could get in a standard box he just said many. lets see if anyone else is interested.

You know, he says those L134 are WC. Can we confirm this before I commit to buying because I am not too sure I believe that and I found them for $22 less on another site.

As far as I know this guys is the reall deal.... all his WC fish are proven... so if he says it, your gettin it!

Unfortunelty though guys... i have already decided to back out..... I am gettin a WC group of Tropheus Bemba, adult, and they are breeding! really cheap!!! so i am pretty excited, but they will be taking the tank I was gonna put the white AMps in... sorry guys, count me out.

I think "A Place for Pets" has ordered from Rapps before. Maybe the next time they order, see if they can grab what you want also.

Spyral, if you want conformation on WC, I think he has vids and pics of his trips to C/S America. I think he also does imports for Zoos , Professional Aquariums, etc... Rapps also has been featured in an article about his operation in the magazine "Tropical Fish Hobbyist". Rapps is more of a "Brand" than anything. If it's labeled as WC, then it's WC.

I have considered ordering from him. I have a lot of respect for the guy. Not a BSer and very modest. I just don't have the tank "infrastructure" for any more American cichlids. However, for my next monster tank, I'm deff going to buy from Rapps.
