You mean like a "trader rating" of some sort? I like that idea.

Yeah a trader rating of some sort would be nice. No need to post about it in the off topic lounge, that's kind of immature. But a rating system would be a good idea!

Why not leave a feedback message on their profile if you bought something from them? Then if someone looks at their profile they can see if they are a decent trader.

I know one member ripped off another member for $20 on a tank he gave her with the promise of being repaid.

Her dignity wasn't worth more than the $20 she screwed him out of.

yes, we all definitely need a rating system for trades and sales. but all issues and problems must be resolved before given a total rating - this can make or break a persons image based on something that couldve been solved so easily; because this is a local site.

but after a month of consecutive chances they will get a bad rating from me ....

Give what ever rating you wish.. I will let everyone know the situation if you wish.. I am at a hard rock in my life right now and you both got caught up in it.. Im not out to screw anyone over...

Shua and Ashley agreed to make a 125 gallon canopy for me and they have.. it has been finished and i have not been able to get down there to pick it up from them and pay them for it for the past going on month.. I am extremly appreciative especially at the price they quoted me at.. I have offered to pay them up right after i saw pictures which i have and by the looks of it it was of descent craftsmanship... I have told them that i would like to just paypal them the money I owed and was told that it was ok and that to just pay when i picked it up....

Befor i contacted them to build it for me everything was great.. It has been of recent My life has been turned upside down.. My gf is leaving me, Im loosing my year and a half old son.. Im now in a huge financial situation having to take on all bills that was once split by us.. Because of this i dont even know if i will be able to afford to live where i am at.. I dont know where i will go.. If i will even be to keep my tanks or if i will have to sell them off... This month is paid for but if im going to leave i have to give them 20 days notice befor vacating the property.. so i need to know befor the 11th where i will be moving if i cant afford to live here anymore..

Even after all of this and i have told them whats going on i have STILL told them i WILL get them their well deserved money.. Ashley had asked me if needed they could deliver for a fee if it was needed.. And it would help very much so..

Just aranging pickup is hard to do.. i have to send them a email just to tell them i am coming to pick up and hope that they recieve it and that the time is ok to come over.. I cant call them to do this.. I have no phone.. And i have to hope i have some dang good directions to the shop being i dont have a cell phone and dont have any clue wtf that area is like at all... Let alone 20 years of my life i have never driven on anything close to a major highway/freeway systems so its quite confusing/frustrating and overwhelming driving bymyself and trying not to get lost..

SOOO if i am just another craigslister as you like to put it than so be it...



As far as your rating system or feedback or a reference system i absolutely agree...
I am 100% sorry that our first dealing has been like this..
I can only say im sorry so many times..

you are not the only instance i would give good feed back when needed.
i just think that its good idea to have feedback that way people would try harder, and there would be consequences for people doing bad business.
please do not take this as a shot toward you yes we are far from pleased with you, but please understand that business is business i am trying very senselessly to get this taken care of

i also would like all of the things to be anonymous so this wouldnt be an issue

So your saying you cant have a rating system yet?? Cause Personal Messages wouldnt really be a rating system.... I like the idea of sending information on a transaction that accured threw profiles where you can leave a message in their profile page...

What I meant was I will work on a rating system...If you guys want to make your problematic transactions public now, feel free to do so. I just think until the rating system is up and running, if ppl have a problem with someone they should just PM that specific person. Just my opinion.

I agree with mikey 100% .... we do have that rating system for petshops, and most of our sponsors are located in there... I figure thats where most people are buyin allot of stuff... not really from members in here.
