A quick glimpse of my new group order fish
So I got two amph chanco (4-5") actual size 3-3.5"
And
Two Amph trimac (3") actual size 2"
(All with lovely colors)
Unfortunately my qt tank is being used by the dragon puffers for a couple of more weeks so I went with the "everyone in the pool" style and threw caution into the wind
Here is a quick and rather shaky video
Thanks again Shawn for putting this all together

make sure to update as they grow. Real trimacs... a rarity.

Very cool Llyod! You really did thin down the herd, almost a bit empty looking in there.

Sounds like you are on the path to an amphilophus species tank. Really want to see how the trimac color up.

Re: A quick glimpse of my new group order fish
Quick poll. I'd like to update my fish order, but the video show my dominant chanco lip locking with my flowerhorn ( I added three hybrids to disperse his aggression when I noticed that both of my trimacs and my other chanco and even my bigger godmani had bite marks on their fins and tails)
So, do you want me to show the video of my super psycho chanco, or would you like me to shoot another? I'd like to show them after a few days with their nice colors.

I want to see the chancho!
My group (2-3" X6) is a blast so far! Feeding time for them is quickly becoming my favorite part of the day!

I ended up having to take the flowerhorn out. Though, if the chanco keeps this up, he's moving to my big amph tank!

That little chanco has attitude! I think the big garage tank needs to become the amphilophus tank with those bruisers you have going.

Yeah I'm liking the trimacs and chancos a lot! Just wish the largest chanco didn't have little fish syndrome......bassetman wrote:First one with Midas and chancho fry just put me down for some of each.
I'm keeping the amphs in the house for now as they are the most interactive and my kids get to see them all the time.DMD123 wrote:That little chanco has attitude! I think the big garage tank needs to become the amphilophus tank with those bruisers you have going.

I am going to play the video for my Isletas to get him be more interactive!
I still have pretty much got zero personality out of the guy.
